About us

Hello and welcome,

my name is Michele and this is me with my little Cockapoo Peggy. I run my grooming business, Hairy Piranha Dog Grooming and Microchipping and i am based at Wetherham Boarding Kennels St Tudy. I offer a top quality grooming service in a calm and relaxing environment. your dogs' welfare is paramount, so you can rest easy knowing your pooch is having the VIP (very important pooch) treatment whilst in my care. I am City & Guilds qualified and fully insured. so, if you would like to treat your fur baby or de-stink your hound why not book them for a session with me.

I also offer a mobile microchipping service. I am fully qualified and registered with Peddymark. I use Animal tracker microchips as they only have a one off payment for their service. I come to you so mum and pups can stay at home comfy and relaxed with no stress of being taken to the vet. I also offer discounts for 4 or more puppies.

last of all, 'Why the Hairy Piranha?' well that is Peggy's fault! when she was a pup she loved to use me as a chew toy with her needle puppy teeth, so I nicknamed her the hairy piranha, hence the name !

keeping the hygiene area fresh and clean. trim around the face keeping your pooch looking dapper between grooms

Hand strip

One for the Terriers in your life. price includes return appointment for a bath a week after the handstrip.

Mobile Microchipping Service

Discounts for 4 or more dogs/puppies.

I come to your house so mum and pups don't have to be moved, so less stress for all involved. registered with Peddymark I use Animal Tracker microchips as they have a one off payment to register owner details for the life of the chip, making it a lot more cost effective for you and your customers. travel costs may occur depending on your location.

Puppy introduction package

Take the stress out of grooming for your puppy by starting as soon as they are fully vaccinated. By introducing them slowly to the salon environment, it gets puppy used to all the sounds and smells at their own pace and making it a fun place to visit

during the session there will always be water available and plenty of toilet breaks and of course lots of cuddles

Prices will vary depending on the size and condition of the dog, a quote will be given before the groom commences, if there are any other issues found during the groom you will be contacted and informed of any price increase.
