As a new customer you will be asked to fill out and sign a pet safety form and a client card regarding yours pets details including any health concerns and your contact details. these details will be confidential and stored within the guidelines of GDPR. I keep this information to help maintain your pets health and welfare whilst in our care. when you pick up your pooch I will give you feedback regarding the grooming process. if you have any questions or anything you would like to change to the groom please do not hesitate to ask before you leave.
I will give a quote for services required before the groom commences but please be aware that there may be cause for the price to increase during the appointment. these are factors that only become apparent during the groom. nervous or anxious dogs that require longer, matted coats that require clipping. If your pet is heavily matted you will be asked to sign a dematting form and a £10.00 charge will be added to the cost of the groom.
I am by appointment only and when you book you will have a time slot reserved, so please try to stick to the time allocated. I understand life happens so if you are late please let me know as soon as you can. I do reserve the right to refuse to carry out the groom and re book for another slot if it affects another clients time slot. If you are late collecting your pet there will be a fee of £10.00 per hour payable on collection.
if you need to change or cancel your appointment please give at least 24 hours notice so I can offer the slot to other clients. failure to give me notice will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the groom.
Here at the Hairy Piranha your pets welfare is top priority and I want their visit to be pleasurable. if i feel for any reason they are not happy I will terminate the groom and ask you to collect them. there will still be a charge for the service.
